Hi! I’m Jenny. I’m a former professional chef turned recipe developer, food blogger, and photographer. I have over 10 years experience working in professional kitchens and I bring that knowledge to all the recipes I create here at So Much Food.

I grew up watching my parents in the kitchen and that love for food runs so deep! I started So Much Food in 2018 as a way to share that love of food with you all. Every recipe is meant to be savored and enjoyed with a sense of community.

Expertise

I’ve always felt pulled in a lot of directions when it comes to my cooking style! I am a first generation Mexican-American and I love sharing recipes inspired by my Dad’s Mexican heritage that I grew up eating. My mom is originally from the midwest and so my cooking is also influenced by her love of homey, comforting meals.

This is why, in 2018, I created So Much Food® to showcase all the tried & true recipes of my childhood, married with the technical expertise that comes from my professional chef days. So Much Food is my effort to combine classic cooking techniques and styles, while making them feel approachable for the novice cook. My goal is to educate as much as inspire!

In 2024, I had the opportunity to write a cookbook. It was, without a doubt, one of the highlights of my life and was a culmination of all the foods I love and the knowledge I have to give.
