Creamy Horseradish Sauce
This creamy and flavorful Horseradish Sauce rivals anything I’ve had at a high-end steakhouse and it is so easy to make! You only need a few minutes and a handful of pantry and fridge staple ingredients. Serve it up over your favorite prime rib, steak, or classic beef tenderloin.

Prepared Horseradish vs Cream-Style Horseradish
When it comes to sourcing ingredients to make your own horseradish sauce at home, you want to make sure you find the right horseradish. Prepared horseradish can typically be found in the refrigerated section (sometimes near the seafood!) and it’s grated fresh horseradish that’s been preserved with vinegar, salt, and sometimes a little sugar. It’s strong and pungent and exactly what you need for this recipe.
In comparison, cream-style horseradish can be found in the condiment aisle of your grocery store and already contains dairy and other ingredients. Cream-style horseradish is not what you need to make this recipe.
How to Make Horseradish Sauce

When I tell you this recipe couldn’t be easier to make, I mean it! All you have to do is get all the ingredients in a mixing bowl, give them a good whisk, season to taste with salt and pepper, and you’re done!
However, horseradish sauce gets better as it sits. I like to make it several hours (or even 24 hours!) before I plan to serve it and I just store it in an airtight container in the fridge.
